Surface treatments that create sparks can be treated with dry or water filters.

The dry system benefits of the simplest maintenance and ease of use. However, even with spark traps or holding systems, the fire hazard is not cancelled.

GEF has therefore opted, for the above-mentioned applications, for a purifier with water filtration where sparks are not a problem.

In this kind of filters maintenance is usually a problem. However, GEF, thanks to its technical department, has designed a series of simple but very effective watertight doors used to clean the whole tank. This system allows frequent cleaning without wasting time of the workers in charge of the surface treatment machine.

Even if the filtering elements are not available, the tests we carried out together with our collaborators show a 98% reduction of the pollutant. In addition, the fan inside the purifier reduces noise considerably and allows the installation of an ATEX certified version.
