CMP circular filters are suitable for use with pressures of up to 40,000 Pa and are made of robust calendared sheet metal, welded and then painted. In addition to the standard version, an AISI 304 stainless steel version is also available.
The circular filter is suitable for filtering dust from foodstuffs production, VOC-SOV, plastics, wood and welding.
The inlet of the polluted air is made in the lower part of the filter body, immediately above the hopper, so as to exploit the cyclonic effect and form a chamber that allows the separation of the coarsest particles.
The filtration consists of a series of special fabric bags which are positioned inside the structure. Each bag is supported by a suitably sized iron basket that allows it to remain in position despite the depression and keeps it anchored to the overlying surface ensuring a perfect seal.
Once through the filtering section, the purified air flow enters the upper area, where the pneumatic cleaning system is housed, and is then expelled from the structure via the exhaust section on the machine.
The filter is equipped with an economiser to control the pneumatic cleaning, which allows a precise analysis of the filter clogging status, and thanks to a large, bright display it is possible to read the filter clogging status, the active solenoid valves and any alarms.
The reverse jet cleaning by difference in pressure guarantees a long life of the filter elements, for which maintenance is very simple as the bags are easily accessible through a front door, which allows for very easy replacement.
The filter is also available in an ATEX version, designed to handle explosive dust class ST1 and ATEX certified for zone 22 3D.
GEF will soon release the same series but with cartridge filtration!
